Does anyone else think that when Staryu or Starmie is fused with another pokemon, it looks like it’s a parasite attached to the other’s face? Starduck to the rescue?

I found a tutorial for a thing and I did it. See if can read? :D
I know, it’s a silly portrait from the nice people at Deviantart, but this is me. My name is Pixi Bolt, I’m a sculptor by heart, and I make glass creations of all kinds through the use of my magic. Here I’m seen with the beginnings of a glass swan! I’d love to take requests on sculptures for you all if you’d like, or just ask me questions! Please keep it clean though, my glass is fragile and can’t handle much abuse. <3
I made a ask a pony blog for the people of tumblr. Jumping on the bandwagon I guess.
When the long s fell out of use: beft, best (English) by me
People need to watch this video and learn the story!

So I saw a picture on tumblr, http://dorkasaurous.tumblr.com/image/45744614528 and I thought. This has enough reblogs, perhaps it will work for me as well.
It’s okay google. I want a sandwich too.
This is why I didn’t want to create the third story. This girl is just… ugh.
Anyway, same world as the kid, but several hundreds (or thousands) of years later. Her story is a bit more developed. First off, her name is Artemis.
She was raised on the same island, where there is now a school of magic. She along with several dozen other girls and boys are trained in the art of what I’ve named ‘Arcane magic’. There are six (right now) studies of magic.
Arcane is pure magic. It makes up the rest of the branches of magic in some way or another, but one doesn’t need to train under the arcane branch specifically to understand how to use another area of the art.
The second through fifth branches are the overly-common Fire, Earth, Water, and Wind branches. Using, basic magic-logic, these four elements of nature can create anything in the world. Merging of two elements is very elementary (haha i’m so funny) and is taught in Capital City on the main continent. As I said earlier, the arcane is used to merge and create these elements.
The last branch of magic study is Charms. A student may be unable to create the main branches of magic because of the intense focus it requires, however, through the use of the language of the origin species (the one that named the Po Po) they can create talismans that can perform basic functions. Charms can be extremely powerful when mastered, however, they are also fairly expensive and as such, learning Charms is usually done in a private study for wealthy children.
Back to Artemis, she grew up in the (renamed to Banished Lands) islands off the south coast of the main continent during a time of relative peace. However strong disagreements began with an ever-growing anti-magic group.
** Back-stepping a bit, the Po Po is no longer a necessary tool, however having one, will greatly increase one’s potential, essentially doubling their strength in magic. The Po Po is also created much differently then it was in the past. In the child’s existence, the PoPo was birthed through a special drug, either swallowed whole or injected through the chest or back. The drug would then take root in the host’s body, claiming a small portion of their heart and brain. Each time the drug is used a new Po Po is claimed, however the process become more and more painful and ever more life-threatening. Powerful mages couldn’t even handle owning more than a few Po Po. The sphere itself was pure arcane energy, taking the form of least resistance (sphere!) It was very uncommon for children to have, and so our old child became a prodigy of sorts.
In the new Era, a Po Po was a man-made device, made of several ingredients. A special herb found in the south continent, a root from the volcanic north, and most importantly, a magic-absorbing crystal found in the center of the main continent. The students of the arcane were taught to form a shield of magic around the ingredients because the reaction of creating a crystal was very explosive, and had nasty effects on the environment. Each crystal would then become a Po Po, retaining it’s shape and binding itself to the user.
Okay, fast forward again**
In Artemis’s days, the only location to find the crystal was inside the Religious Palace of the anti-magic group. (Why take up residence near the magic-users crystal? It absorbs magical energy that’s why. Perfect for anti-magic uses) The quest to create your first Po Po became what was known as the Pilgrimage, where students of the islands would split off into teams and gather only enough ingredients for themselves, to return home and create their crystals.
Artemis was the teacher’s star pupil, and got an extra PoPo in exchange for taking on a magical apprenticeship with the arcane master.
Because of the pilgrimage, tensions rose between magic users, and anti-magic groups. Eventually, a feud broke out between a minor anti-magic group and the students on their pilgrimage. Several buildings along the road were destroyed or damaged, and the pilgrimage ended on the spot. Shortly after, the arcane master vanished.
**Backtracking again… The Po Po was an object that was bound for life. The only way to get rid of it was for a mage to learn the method of destroying his own. It was impossible to take someone’s away, and it would follow you around, indicating to the entire world that you were a mage. Most users hid their crystals by wearing them as jewelry.**
The arcane master somehow vanished without taking the bound crystal with him, and yet it was not destroyed. Learning of his disappearance took the students back, and they made several short trips around the world discovering that other teachers and masters had vanished in the same way.
Two of Artemis’s school firends, twins in the school, became the new teachers, they worked extremely well together, and could teach much better than she could herself. However, within several days they received more and more students from around the world saying they had been attacked by a large anti-magic army. Surely the army was headed that way and they would be attacked soon as well.
This event was known as the great war, in an effort to save themselves, they teleported to the mages’ school in the capital city to request help, they got several more students until the mage population of the island was over 300 mages, more than had ever gathered in one location in the history of the world.
The anti-magic group however, had thousands. Boat after boat unloaded on the shores and soon the entire village was in danger. Artemis, being one of the most powerful, volunteered to try to save as many people as she could by teleporting to the capital and not to come back. The rest of the students either sealed themselves in the school with a powerful forcefield,(essentially trapping themselves for the next 10 years in a time-prison) while the last of the students, a couple hundred magic users, banded together to create one island-crushing explosion to wipe out the enemy fleet.
In doing so, the anti-magic city back at the palace survived, and the rest of the mages were either dead, trapped in stasis, or forced into hiding. Artemis lost all of her friends that day, and vowed to never let this catastrophe happen again.
*this part of the story doesn’t really exist, we instead fast-forward in time, nearly 10 years in the future*
Artemis has become the high-priestess of the Anti-magic religious palace. She had forced her way in, because of her knowledge of magic and ability to counter it, as well as vowing to be anti-magic herself. It was a relatively successful maneuver. Magic was banned from being practiced just a year or so after the Great War.
Artemis, being a high-ranking member of the Anti-magic city..(still doesn’t have a real name) along with other high-ranking members of society were invited to an unusual performance in the volcanic north region. Once everyone was settled in, a dark figure with his own, incredible large PoPo crystal walks in and causes some havoc, eventually releasing a powerful “demon” into the cave(forgot to mention it was in a cave in a volcano.), which attempts to kill Artemis and ‘free it’s brothers’. Artemis, betraying her vow, saves herself and her escort by using the arcane shielding she had learned so long ago and resealing the beast, by trapping it and the black mage in the collapsing ruin of the cave. The beast mentions that there are other gates that lead out, and they would return.
Artemis and the other priests of the church warn the capital city and anti-magic city of the threat. In a very short amount of time, the anti-magic group pardons Artemis for her use of magic and asks her to use it as their only defense against these demons. As they said, the demons returned, very nearby to the church, and artemis began a long and arduous fight. (she wins of course though) She manages to posses the mind of the dark-mage and force him to break his own Po-Po, a feat which had never been dreamed before, and re-sealed the 3 escaped demons. They no longer had a human pawn(dark-mage) with which they could use to open the gates and the world rested easy once again.
********Theres more to the story, but I’ve been typing for so long, I’m ready to take a break. I will write a short-ish text on the third dream I had but there wont be any pictures.
This, along with another picture afterwards, were ideas in my head, like dreams, but something that I thought about outside of the dreamland state, where they became mini stories. I have 3 of them, but after I sketched up the second picture, I lost all motivation to attempt the third.
This little guy has no name yet. Didn’t think of one. He’s part of (obvi) a fantasy realm where magic exists. (I’m just that creative) He’s actually a lot older than he looks, having lived a near full lifetime before becoming reborn in this unfamiliar world. But he looks like a child, and therefore no one believes him or his wild imagination of a different world out there. He was raised on an island where, of course, he became fascinated with magic. He found himself a mentor to teach him the way of the magic world.
After some time I don’t feel like making up right now, he was able to acquire himself the little orb thing. The orb is known to another self-aware and (semi) prosperous species as the “Po Po” and for whatever reason the english speaking species didn’t want to rename it in their language. :P It is the tool ‘needed’(hint) to cast spells.
So this kid is like, going around the world trying to find either a way home or a new life or something. Anywho, thats this picture.
